This year marked the 9th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, India’s premiere conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics. Held in New Delhi, India, on 21 – 23 February 2024, the conference was hosted by the Observer Research Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.  It was inaugurated by the Greek  and Indian Prime Ministers, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Narendra Modi.

Dr. Elena Lazarou, ELIAMEP Senior Research Fellow, participated as an active moderator in the session: Fragile Dividend: Addressing the ‘Old’ versus the ‘New’ in West Asia. The session looked at potential scenarios for the future of the Middle East and Gulf region, against the backdrop of the current crises and global geopolitics but also structural transformations in parts of the region.
