On April 30th, 2009, in an article entitled “Visa violators stoke irregular migration” the English-language newspaper Athens News reported extensively on the Clandestino Workshops on Irregular Migration in Europe, held in Athens on 27-28 April 2009 and organized by the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Affairs (ELIAMEP) under the auspices of the CLANDESTINO project. The article quoted two of ELIAMEP’s researchers, Prof. Anna Triantafyllidou and Dr. Thanos Maroukis.
