The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) is interested in participating as a host organization in the submission of proposals to the European Research Council, in response to call ERC Starting Independent Researcher Grant 2011 (ERC-2011-StG_20101124) for the support of research projects in the domain of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Researchers who wish to collaborate with ELIAMEP for the submission of the proposal within the aforementioned framework should check that they fulfill the respective eligibility criteria and then express their interest to the Foundation in writing, by sending a short CV, a summary of their proposal, 1-2 pages long, and a recommendation letter to [email protected], by 24 October 2010 at the latest.

ELIAMEP welcomes project proposals from all areas of social sciences. However, priority will be given to those projects that fit best with ELIAMEP’s existing research interests and orientations and have the support of at least one ELIAMEP senior researcher.

Proposals are pre-selected on the basis of internal evaluation and the availability of suitable evaluators. Candidates will be informed of the results of the pre-selection well in advance of the deadline set by the ERC for the submission of proposals, so that they can search for another host organization, should their proposal not be accepted.

Detailed information regarding the criteria to be met and the submission procedure for this specific call are available at http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/dc/index.cfm?fuseaction=UserSite.IdeasDetailsCallPage&call_id=345.

For additional information and clarifications regarding the pre-selection procedure organized by ELIAMEP, please, contact the Foundation at [email protected].
