The South-East Europe Programme of ELIAMEP is in search of an intern to join its team to support the European GEMS project titled “Gaming Ecosystem as a complex security threat.” This intern will work under the supervision of Dr. Ioannis Armakolas.

The position is unpaid, part-time (15 hours per week) and available from October 2023 for five (5) months. 

Location:

Working remotely is possible (or based in Athens, Greece)

Duties:

– Support researchers in the deliverables and execution of the GEMS project.

– Monitoring and use of social media for the presentation and dissemination of results.

– Support in other activities of the project and the SEE programme in general.

Required qualifications:

– Master’s degree in social and/or political sciences.

– Experience in data analysis and excellent knowledge of Excel.

– Knowledge of new technologies and/or gaming.

– Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages will be taken into account.

– Ability to write short reports relevant to the research topic.

– Critical thinking and collaborative skills.
