The poverty headcount ratio at national poverty lines averaged 20% for Spain, Italy, Greece and Croatia in 2020. Slovenia, Cyprus, Turkey and France were relatively better, with rates ranging from 12% to 14.5% of their total population. We identified data gaps in this indicator, highlighting the need to systematically collect quality data to inform decision-making.
