The project titled ‘Learning Online about Security, Part II – After the June 2021 Summit’, aims to contribute to an acute and comprehensive understanding of the new NATO priorities as they are outlined in the Communiqué of 14 June 2021. It will complement research already conducted in the last months of 2020 and synthesized around ‘NATO 2030 Vision’.
The project will have three main pillars: a) podcasts, b) development of an online library with resources free to download and c) the organization of an online (or hybrid) conference. The proposed project will give the opportunity to interested netizens to enrich their knowledge about NATO in the aftermath not only of the June 2021 Summit but also of the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in August 2021 and its significance for international relations.
