Çelik Rruplli has been working as a media analyst in Tirana, Albania for the last 5 years, as part of the Europe House team. During his work, he has been monitoring on a daily basis the Albanian media spectrum (TV, press and online media) with a focus on the political, economic and social issues in Albania. Moreover, considering Albania’s momentum regarding the EU integration process, Çelik has followed closely and monitored over the years the work of the Albanian institutions in adopting and implementing crucial reforms towards the EU and Albania’s foreign policy and its role in the Western Balkan region.

Previously, Çelik has worked with civil society organizations in Albania, in collaboration with other Albanian young professionals in communicating and advocating the EU integration process to the Albanian public and institutions. Moreover, Çelik has also been involved in social and cultural heritage projects in Tirana, with a focus on the valorization of remembrance as a tool for touristic promotion.

Çelik graduated from the University of Siena (Italy) with a degree in Political Sciences and International Relations and holds a Master in Public Administration from “Marin Barleti” University in Tirana (Albania), where the EU institutions and its policies have been the main focus of his studies.

He speaks fluently English, Italian, and Spanish (Castellano).
