Eleftherios Petropoulos, LL.M. is the Project Manager of the Team on the Civil Society and Think-Tank Forum (Berlin Process) at ELIAMEP.

He has also been a Project Manager – Research Associate the Greece and Cyprus Office of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation since May 2017. His fields of expertise include EU/foreign affairs and regional cooperation, security and energy, human rights, the Rule of Law and migration. He is also the supervisor of the KAS Greece and Cyprus Office’s Scholarship Programme.

He has a legal background, graduating from the Law Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and the Law School of the University of Strasbourg (France), whereas pursued postgraduate studies at the Universities of Tübingen (Private Intl. Law) and at the Europa-Institut of the Saarland University (European Law), Germany. Before joining KAS he worked at the Legal Service of the European Commission, in the academia and in the private sector.

He speaks Greek (native), English, German, French and is a beginner in Turkish.
