Director General at ELIAMEP, Dr. Thanos Dokos wrote an article for “KATHIMERINI” newspaper titled “Travelling without a compass and without a map”.

According to Dr. Dokos: “In an international environment of high uncertainty and complexity in the 21st Century , a Journey without navigational instruments can prove to be a particularly risky case for a country in a difficult “neighborhood”, which is also burdened with tasks and long-term pathogenies. The choice of realistic goals at a depth of 10, 20 or 30 years, the preparation of a “road map”, the coordination of movements during the course of the project, the timely identification of deviations and the rapid implementation of adaptive movements require an effective strategic planning mechanism.”
