Dr. Ioannis Armakolas, Assistant Professor at the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies, University of Macedonia and Head of the South-East Europe Programme – ELIAMEP, participated in the panel discussion entitled “The Western Balkans beyond resolution of bilateral issues” which was organized by Balkans in Europe Policy Advisory Group (BiEPAG) and the Institute for Democracy ‘Societas Civilis’ (IDSCS) in Skopje on March 29.

The issues that have been discussed were the prospect of EU enlargement, the resolution of bilateral issues and issues related to reconciliation in the region. Keynote speaker was be H.E. Mr Nikola Dimitrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia.
