“Countries like Italy, Spain, Malta and Bulgaria share no common strategy with Greece against Turkey. Rather, our interests clash. The communication between these Mediterranean countries, seven in total, will be invaluable in forging a common path forward. In any other case Turkey will be able to take advantage of gaps and uncertainties. It will surely target issues that Germany cares about, like the matter of refugees,” explained Sotiris Serbos in his interview with journalist Marion Michelidaki on Greek national television.
