ELIAMEP in cooperation with the Kokkalis Foundation organized a public lecture on Imperial Hubris: The Thinking Behind the Decision to Invade Iraq by Professor Tony Smith, Cornelia M. Jackson Professor of Political Science, Tufts University Senior Fellow, Center for European Studies, Harvard University. The event was held on the occasion of the publication of his new book A Pact with the Devil: Washington’s Bid for World Supremacy and the Betrayal of the American Promise.
