Ceremony in honor of the President of ELIAMEP at the University of Athens

The University of Athens and the Rector, Professor Meletios-Athanasios Dimopoulos, organized a ceremony for the presentation of an Honorary Volume to the President of ELIAMEP, Professor Loukas Tsoukalis. The event was held at the Ceremonial Hall of the University of Athens on May 5 and was addressed by the Rector of the University of Athens, the President of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Professor Charalambos Chrysanthakis, Professor George Pagoulatos, Director General of ELIAMEP, Associate Professor Nikos Koutsiaras, and Professor Loukas Tsoukalis, while Herman Van Rompuy, former President of the European Council and Dame Helen Wallace, member of the British Academy, sent a recorded message.

The ceremony was attended by, among others, the Vice President of the Government, Mr Panagiotis Pikrammenos, the Minister of Interior, Professor Kalliopi Spanou, the Deputy Minister of Social Security, Professor Panagiotis Tsakloglou and other former Ministers.
