Antiparatheseis, “Is there a Need for a Readjustment of Greek Foreign Policy?”, 17/02/2011

The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) organized a public debate on the question “Is there a Need for a Readjustment of Greek Foreign Policy?”. The speakers were divided into two groups: those in favors and those against the proposal. On the one hand, Chrysanthos Lazaridis (Economist and Consultant to the President of  “Nea Dimokratia”) and Stavros Lygeros (Journalist) were in favor of the proposal. On the other hand, Panagiotis Ioakimidis (Professor of European Integration at the University of Athens) and Theodore Skylakakis (Independent Member of the European Parliament-Member of the European People’s Party) were against the proposal. The journalist Yannis Kartalis moderated the discussion, which took place on February 2^nd, 2011 in the Auditorium of the old Athens Stock Exchange.
