A public debate on energy security in the Eastern Mediterranean was organised by ELIAMEP and IDOS on 6 February 2014, at 18:00, at IDOS conference hall (Panepistimiou 16, 2nd floor). The debate was organised on the occasion of the publication of the working paper ‘Shifting Sands or Burning Bridges. The Evolution of Turkish-Israeli Relations after the Mavi Marmara Ιncident and the Strategic Energy Calculations of Greece & Cyprus‘ written by Dr Theodore Tsakiris. Speakers were Professor Andreas Theophanous (University of Nicosia and President of the Cyprus Center for European and International Affairs), Dr Thanos Dokos (Director General of ELIAMEP), Dr Theodore Tsakiris (University of Nicosia and ELIAMEP) and Professor Harry Papasotiriou (Panteion University and President of the Board of Directors, IDIS). Dr Charalambos Tsardanidis (Director General of IDOS) moderated the discussion.
