Nick Malkoutzis is the editor of MacroPolis, an independent website founded in 2013 that provides data and analysis on the Greek economy and the country’s politics.
Nick was the deputy editor of Kathimerini English Edition between 2004 and 2016. He has worked for the BBC and the Associated Press and his articles have been published in Bloomberg Businessweek and other international publications such as Die Zeit, Politico and The Guardian.
Nick has written several policy papers for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and has contributed to the Journal of the British Academy.
In 2015, he was given the Ernest Udina Award by the Association of European Journalists of Catalonia (APEC) in recognition of his “professionalism and European spirit.”
Nick holds a BSc and MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
