The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) organizes the 3rd institutional workshop on “Gender and Leadership in Research and Academia”.
This workshop is organized under the project “Taking a Reflective Approach to Gender Equality for Institutional Transformation” (TARGET) by ELIAMEP Principal Researcher and Associate Professor at Panteion University, Ntia Anagnostou. The TARGET program is funded by the European Commission under Horizon 2020. The aim of this program is to promote gender equality in seven selected research and innovation organizations in the following countries: Spain, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Serbia, Romania and France. The main tool, which the TARGET project utilises in order to achieve its goal, is the design of a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) by each of the seven partner organizations of the project – among them ELIAMEP. The aim of the programme is to enhance the capacity of each organization to design and implement actions that promote gender equality in its recruitment practices, in the management of its human resources, but also in the identification of its research interests and the programmes implementation.
The event of the 15th of March 2019 is part of a series of actions organized under the TARGET project. Its purpose is to contribute to the understanding of the issue of gender equality in the Scientific Research and Innovation by the contribution of experts in the subject, as well as through an experiential workshop, run with the method of cinema coaching, which will be conducted by Dr. Lilian Tsiavou, a specialist in this field.
