Dr. Ioannis Armakolas, Assistant Professor at the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies, University of Macedonia and Head of the South-East Europe Programme – ELIAMEP and Dr. Panagiotis Paschalidis, Research Fellow at the South-East Europe Programme of ELIAMEP and Visiting Lecturer at the Aristotle University, will participate in the conference “Youth and Cultural Diplomacy: Kosovar Students in Thessaloniki”, held by the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield (The International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, City College) and the EuroBalkan Youth Forum.

The Conference will take place on Tuesday, 28 May 2019, at 18.00 at the auditorium of the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, City College (Leontos Sofou 3, Thessaloniki).

Dr. Armakolas will participate as a moderator of the discussion entitled ‘Kosovars in Greece: Challenging Stereotypes’, while Dr. Paschalidis will discuss the topic ‘Greece and the Western Balkans: Media representations and the potential role of the civil society in changing the narrative’. The discussions will be held in English.
