Antonis Papakostas and Spyros Blavoukos write about the trust the citizens of Greece place in their country’s participation in the European Union, which has been on the increase since 2016, despite the difficulties before that. They go on to explain that low levels of trust in political institutions in general, including the EU and the UN, are potentially a cause for concern vis-a-vis political stability.
