Panayotis Tsakonas explains why recent developments relating to the construction and laying of the Great Sea Interconnector/GSI connecting the Israeli, Cypriot and Greek power grids have certainly not improved the international image of either Greece or the Republic of Cyprus. He also points out that these developments highlight the absence of a shared strategic plan in relation both to the objectives themselves and how to achieve them.
