Myrto Xanthopoulou is a Philanthropy and Civil Society Advisor specializing in democratic deliberation and civic engagement. A passionate advocate for participatory democracy, she has served as a leading facilitator in major European citizen deliberations, including the European Commission’s Citizens’ Panels, the Democratic Odyssey Citizens Assemblies, and the Teens4Democracy Project at the Athens Democracy Forum. With 20 years of experience across Greece and Europe, she advises foundations on grantmaking and strategy, and supports nonprofits on governance and advocacy — with a focus on democracy, human rights, child rights, migration, and social welfare. She is a Board Member at WWF Hellas and holds degrees in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Oxford University and Management from the London School of Economics.
