This\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/dokos1.pdf\">policy paper<\/a>\u00a0written by Director General of ELIAMEP Dr Thanos Dokos\u00a0is making no effort to absolve Greece of its substantial responsibility. It argues that Greece\u2019s (and Europe\u2019s) crisis is mainly &#8211; but not exclusively- economic in nature, but the geopolitical dimensions should not be underestimated. If Greece fails to recover, it may well be forced to leave the Eurozone and, according to most experts, there will be a huge economic and political impact for the Euro and the EU.
