The researcher will head ELIAMEP\u2019s \u201cAriane Condellis European Programme\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>CONTRACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  Fixed term, starting in June 2021. The position is offered for<strong> one (1) year<\/strong> with the possibility of extension for one or more additional year(s).<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>SALAR<\/strong><strong>\u03a5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  Will depend on seniority and expertise.<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>LOCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  Greece<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  The Senior Fellow is expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the Director General to develop the \u201cAriane Condellis European Programme\u201d priorities, design and conduct policy-oriented research; publish policy papers\/ policy briefs in the field of EU policies and institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate ELIAMEP\u2019s projects and activities related to the Conference on the Future of Europe.<\/li>\n<li>Write articles for the press and other outlets.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in and develop external networks, and attend as a speaker conferences, workshops roundtable discussions in Greece and abroad.<\/li>\n<li>Identify sources of funding and contribute to the process of securing funds.<\/li>\n<li>Operate as research team leader<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Participate in team meetings, publications and other ELIAMEP activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <strong>QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>PhD degree in social sciences or humanities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>The applicant should possess expertise in one or preferably more EU-related areas including: EU institutions; European Economic and Monetary Union; EU foreign, security and defense policy; migration; climate change; EU industrial policy, digital, and R&amp;D policies.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated record of research achievement.<\/li>\n<li>High quality scholarly publications in related topics.<\/li>\n<li>Track record in preparing policy reports and\/or producing research papers.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with EU research programmes is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communications skills in Greek and English.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  <strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  <strong>Diversity-Equal Opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  The Hellenic Foundation for European &amp; Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) is strongly committed to diversity within its community.
