The position is offered for<strong> one (1) year<\/strong> with the possibility of extension for one or more additional year(s).<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>SALAR<\/strong><strong>\u03a5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  Will depend on seniority and expertise.<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>LOCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  Greece<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  The researcher is expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the Head of the \u201cAriane Condellis Europen Programme\u201d and the Director General to develop and design the programme\u2019s priorities for the next academic year.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the management of ELIAMEP\u2019s projects and activities related to the Conference on the Future of Europe.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct policy-oriented research; publish policy papers\/ policy briefs in the field of EU policies and institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Write or contribute to publications or disseminate research findings using media appropriate to the discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Write articles for the press and other outlets.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in team meetings, publications and other ELIAMEP activities.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the programme\u2019s interns.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of grant applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <strong>QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>PhD degree in social sciences or humanities (PhD candidates defending within the fall semester of the academic year 2021-2022 will also be considered).<\/li>\n<li>The applicant should possess expertise in one or preferably more EU-related areas including: EU institutions; European Economic and Monetary Union; EU foreign, security and defense policy; migration; climate change; EU industrial policy, digital, and R&amp;D policies.<\/li>\n<li>Track record in preparation of policy reports.<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude for project management. Experience in managing research budgets is desired.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and in a team.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational and writing skills.
