All lectures are available both in English and French, and participants can choose which language to follow.<\/p>\n<p>  On top of classes, evening debates and visits to the European Institutions, the course provides an excellent opportunity to spend an intellectually stimulating fortnight and to network among a group of around one hundred fellow participants specialised in the area of asylum and immigration. <strong>The closing date for Summer School applications is 15 May 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>Doctoral Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  In addition the Summer School regular activities, PhD researches are invited to apply for the the Doctoral Seminar and present their PhD project to a panel of Odysseus Network&#8217;s Members.<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>Refugee Scholarships &amp; #refYOUgee Crowdfunding Campaign<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  This initiative is conceived as a response to the current asylum situation in Europe and aims to provide a number of refugee students with an opportunity to gain knowledge in European immigration and asylum law. It intends to help refugees integrate in Europe, notably by allowing them to engage with European academics and continue their studies, which may have been interrupted due to forced departure from their home country.
