She served as Chair of the Gender Equality Committee at the (June 2020 \u2013 September 2023), a member of the UoC Research Committee (2017\u20132022), and Director of the Laboratory of Educational Research (2017\u20132023). She currently directs the Laboratory for the History of Women and Gender.<\/p>\n<p>She collaborates on research projects with universities abroad, including St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia, the University of Belgrade, the University of Istanbul, the Institute of History\/Slovak Academy of Sciences, the University of Valladolid, and Indiana University. Her research interests focus on the history of women and gender in the 19th and 20th centuries, particularly women\u2019s educational experiences (education and nationalism, gendered and national identities, subjectivities, educational policy, and institutions) and women&#8217;s social, cultural, and political activities (publishing, public discourse, associations, feminisms). Her work is geographically and historically centered on the 18th\u201320th centuries in the Ottoman Empire, Greece, and the Balkans. She has led a significant number of funded research projects (15 projects) and has participated in national, European, and international programs (12 projects). Her current research projects explore feminisms and politics in the Balkans\u00a0during the interwar period, Ottoman women\u2019s press (19th century\u20131923), and the history of medicine.<\/p>\n<p>She is a member of the scientific\/editorial boards of international journals and book series (three international journals and one book series) and co-editor of the Greek book series History of Gender (published by Gutenberg).
