Currently, his work at ELIAMEP focuses on great power competition, Chinese foreign policy, and transatlantic affairs.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Mr.Petropoulos has held various roles in research and policy analysis in the United States and Europe. He has worked, among others, at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) in Washington DC; in\u00a0Turkish\u00a0 Foreign Policy Unit\u00a0of the International Crisis Group in Brussels;\u00a0 and in the MENA Department of the Berghof Foundation in Berlin.\u00a0Further, in May 2024, Mr. Petropoulos was selected by the Greek Embassy in Washington DC to represent Greece at the first-ever NATO Youth Summit, which took place on July 8-10 on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Washington DC. He was one of the co-authors of the first-ever NATO Youth Declaration.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Mr. Petropoulos holds a Master\u2019s degree in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in Boston, graduating in the top 1% of his class with specialization in international security, great power competition in Eurasia, and conflict resolution. During his time at Fletcher, he worked as Professor Chris Miller\u2019s (author of Chip War) teaching assistant contributing to the curriculum of his classes on US Foreign Policy and Russian Foreign Policy. Mr. Petropoulos also has a Bachelor\u2019s degree in International, European, and Area Studies from the Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">His work has appeared in prestigious outlets, such as Foreign Affairs, The Diplomat, Foreign Brief, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, the Warsaw Institute of Geopolitics, and the greek newspaper Ethnos.
