His primary affiliation is with Leiden University, where he serves as a Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow, researching the climatization of the EU&#8217;s maritime transport policy. He has been a lecturer and a postdoctoral researcher at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), affiliated with the Department of Ports Management &amp; Shipping and the Department of Political Science &amp; Public Administration.<\/div>\n<div>Moreover, he is a Senior Research Fellow of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy and a Researcher at the Institute of European Integration and Policy (NKUA). He studied political science at NKUA (Greece) and Leiden University (The Netherlands). His research interests revolve around policymaking and diplomacy, focusing on European and international policies for combating climate change, environmental degradation, and maritime transport. He has received scholarships, grants, and funding from European programmes (HORIZON Europe, Jean Monnet Actions), NKUA, the A. G. Leventis Foundation, the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLLF) in Japan, UNICEF, etc. He is a member of several scientific associations (UACES, ECPR, etc.), often participates in international conferences, and his articles have been published in international and Greek academic journals.
