She has a long standing \u03b5\u03c7\u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03c4\u03b9\u03c3\u03b5 in the areas of the history of : economic development, institutions and entrepreneurship. At AUEB she now teaches in the ERASMUS PROGRAM the course \u2018Startup Entrepreneurship. She has co-edited <em>Diaspora Entrepreneurial Networks: Four Centuries of History<\/em>, (Berg, 2005), <em>Entrepreneurship in Theory and History (<\/em>Palgrave, Macmillan 2005) and <em>Country Studies in Entrepreneurship &#8211; A Historical Perspective <\/em>(Palgrave Macmillan, 2006). She has published articles \u2013on diverse aspects of economic history and the history of enterprise\/entrepreneurship of the Diaspora and Greece (18<sup>th<\/sup>-21<sup>st<\/sup> centuries)- in several international edited volumes and prestigious international refereed journals, among them: <em>Business History, Business History Review, Financial History Review, Journal of European Economic History, Journal of Applied Economics,<\/em> <em>Managerial and Decision Economics<\/em>. She received in 2003 a prize from the <em>Ottoman Bank Archi<\/em>ve for an article on Greek Diaspora Bankers.<\/p>\n<p>She is a member of the Editorial Board of <em>Business History a<\/em>nd has been a referee for the aforementioned and other journals<em>, as well as for Routledge<\/em> and<em> Oxford Bibliographies.<\/em> She participated in the firOC (Massive Open Online Course) in Greece: \u2018<em>Entrepreneurship Beyond Silicon Valley: The Greek story<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>She heads the following two research projects at the department of economics: \u2018Mapping of the startup ecosystem in Athens during the recent economic crisis years\u2019 (which is also included among the activities of\u00a0\u00a0 the Economic Policy Lab) and \u2018Entrepreneurial History and History of Institutions\u2019. She has also acted as Scientific\u00a0Coordinator for\u00a0the Project of diaNEOsis on the Charting of the Greek\u00a0Startup ecosystem (January 2022).<\/p>\n<p>She has also served as a member of: the Councils of <em>The European Business History Association<\/em> and the <em>European Association of Evolutionary Political Economy<\/em>.
