{"id":26632,"date":"2024-08-06T13:11:53","date_gmt":"2024-08-06T10:11:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eliamep.lncdoo.com\/human_resources\/evangelos-tebos\/"},"modified":"2025-10-20T15:44:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T12:44:41","slug":"evangelos-tebos","status":"publish","type":"human_resources","link":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/human_resources\/evangelos-tembos\/","title":{"rendered":"Evangelos Tembos"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"the-content\"><p>Dr. <strong>Evangelos Tembos <\/strong>studied \u201cHistory\u201d at The American College of Greece, Deree College, Political Science &amp; Public Administration at the National &amp; Kapodistrian University of Athens, and \u201cDirecting\u201d at the Lycourgos Stavrakos Hellenic Cinema &amp; Television School.<\/p>\n<p>He obtained a Doctorate Degree in \u201cMilitary History\u201d from the University of York in Great Britain and two Postgraduate Degrees, one from the University of Birmingham and the second \u03bfne from Panteion University specializing on \u201cEuropean Union and Developing Countries\u201d, that was co-organized by the Second Jean Monnet European Seat of Panteion University of Social &amp; Political Sciences and the Institute of International Relations (IDIS).<\/p>\n<p>He is member of many Greek think-tanks and research centres (ELIAMEP, EL\u0399SME-HEL.I.S.S-Hellenic Institute for Strategic Studies, <a href=\"http:\/\/cemmis.edu.gr\/\">CEMMIS-Centre for Mediterranean, Middle East and Islamic Studies<\/a>, Institute of Democracy \u201cKonstantinos Karamanlis\u201d, etc) and abroad (IISS), and his research interests focus mainly on the bilateral Greek-Turkish relations, the Cyprus issue, the Balkan affairs and the EU Common Foreign &amp; Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common [European] Security &amp; Defence Policy (CSDP).<\/p>\n<p>He works as an Expert-Minister, Counsellor \u03bfn \u2018European Union &amp; European Defence Policy\u2019 at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs &amp; he is a Research Associate of ELIAMEP since 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Since February 2012, he was the co-editor of \u0395LIAMEP\u2019s bimonthly English-language electronic newsletter titled \u2019Middle East Mediterranean\u2019.
