It then examined the relations of the President of the United States, <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>, with Latin American countries, focusing on the strategic directions and intentions of U.S. foreign policy, as expressed in official statements.<\/p>\n<p>Special attention was given to the potential impact of these developments on intra-regional relations in Latin America and on the future political landscape in the near term. The online session concluded with questions from participants, which focused, among other topics, on the role the European Union could potentially play in Venezuela.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Crises in Focus\u00a0<\/strong>is a new series of one-hour online conversations shedding light on some of today\u2019s most pressing global crises.
