The second phase of the joint initiative \u2018Raising the Voice of Women in Foreign Policy\u2019 took place on February 9-10, 2025 in Ankara.<\/p>\n

The British Embassy in Athens, in collaboration with ELIAMEP, and the British Embassy in Ankara, in collaboration with the Chevening program, took the initiative to create a network of women, with representatives from academia, civil society, the media, and the diplomatic corps, to strengthen the relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The Greek participants were Ms. Alexandra Fotaki, Ms. Georgina Soultanopoulou, Dr. Nandina Christopoulou, and Dr. Ioanna Pervou.<\/p>\n

Issues of empowerment, participation, gender equality, and vulnerability, as well as proposals for creating communication channels, were extensively discussed in both phases of the program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The first phase of the initiative took place in Athens from November 9-11, 2024.
