On Wednesday, 28 May 2025, ELIAMEP hosted a high-level meeting with Members of the Indian Parliament, held at the Costas Apostolidis Conference Room. The delegation was\u00a0comprised of\u00a0<\/span>representatives from across India\u2019s political spectrum: Ms Kanimozhi Karunanidhi <\/strong>(DMK), Mr Prem Chand Gupta <\/strong>(RJD), Mr Rajeev Rai <\/strong>(Samajwadi Party), Capt. Brijesh Chowta<\/strong> (BJP), Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal<\/strong> (AAP), and Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri<\/strong>, former Ambassador of India to the European Union and the United Nations.<\/p>\n

The meeting served as a valuable platform for strategic dialogue on regional and global developments, with particular focus on strengthening the relationship between Greece and India. The presence of a cross-party delegation underscored the broad political consensus in India on the importance of fostering ties with Greece and the European Union, including the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and Greece\u2019s potential role as a strategic gateway between East and West.<\/p>\n
