On Tuesday, November 26th, ELIAMEP organized a closed discussion on the challenges and impacts of plastic pollution in seas and oceans, as well as ways to address it, with the participation of relevant stakeholders, academics, policy-makers and civil society representatives.\u00a0The event was held on the occasion of the publication of the policy paper titled\u00a0“<\/em>Plastic Pollution in Seas and Oceans: Challenges and Responses“<\/em><\/a>, written for\u00a0 ELIAMEP by\u00a0Konstantinos Topouzelis<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Department of Marine Sciences, University of the Aegean and\u00a0Ifigeneia Tsakalogianni<\/strong>, Environmental Lawyer, LL.M, MSc.<\/p>\n

The discussion was moderated by Emmanuella Doussis, <\/strong>Professor of international institutions at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Senior Policy Advisor & Head of the Climate and Sustainability Programme at ELIAMEP.<\/p>\n
