The seminar is organized in the framework of the project \u201cTackling gender inequalities in research and higher education in Greece (GENDRHED)\u201d, which is funded by the Active citizens fund programme.<\/p>\n<p> In the past two years, most research institutes in Greece have formed and are going to implement Gender Equality Plans (GEPs). These are comprehensive interventions aimed at addressing gender inequalities in higher education and research. The implementation of GEPs is a basic precondition for research institutes in order to receive funding for research and other projects under the European Commission\u2019s \u201cHorizon Europe\u201d programme (2021-2026).<\/p>\n<p> The purpose of the workshop taking place on 1-2 December is to transfer know-how to members of the research institutes\u2019 administration, as well as to the research community, in order to support the implementation of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs). It will also provide an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and good practices between Greek research institutes. The seminar will take place online and will last for 1.5 days (Thursday 1 December 10.00 \u2013 15.15, and Friday 2 December 10.00 \u2013 13.15).
