The event brought together a select group of U.S. and European experts for forward-looking discussions on transatlantic relations, nuclear deterrence, Ukraine, and broader security challenges, complemented by scenario-building exercises examining a shifting transatlantic environment.<\/p>\n<p>Organized through the collaboration between the <strong>Council on Foreign Relations<\/strong> and the <strong>European University Institute\u2019s Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies<\/strong>, the workshop also addressed risks such as migration pressures, instability in the Middle East, and China\u2019s growing role in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>ELIAMEP\u2019s participation contributed to broadening the Southern European perspective in these important discussions on the future of European security.
