They addressed critical questions such as European governments\u2019 building and maintaining public support for defense spending in rearmament. How to achieve European procurement and capability development through building blocks, identifying priority and capabilities, time scales as well as costs, to address fragmentation and duplication and ensure large scale production. And lastly how to ensure recruitment and skilled forces, hence the link between the army and society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">In her intervention, Dr Cl\u00e9ment Mavroudis examined how European governments can ensure sustained increases in defense spending in the context of rearmament, and how Europe can advance effective joint procurement and capability development in order to secure large-scale production.
