Bringing together key luminaries in the Washington critical minerals scene from the public sector, the private sector as well as the think tank world, the debate was held under Chatham House rules and allowed for a candid, timely discussion.<\/p>\n<p>The debate identified core issues pertaining to the inextricably linked relationship between national security and critical minerals. Several key variables were identified by participants as especially important in safeguarding the supply and usage of the minerals that will power tomorrow\u2019s economies. Among them, processing, speed times and licensing were highlighted as especially important, in the United States as well as Europe.
