They discussed the significant obstacles posed by rising Euroscepticism and geopolitical challenges, emphasizing the need for forward-thinking ideas to rebuild trust, foster cooperation, and counter authoritarian influences.<\/p>\n<p>Drawing from the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/projects\/think-nea-new-narratives-of-eu-integration\/\">think nea \u2013 New Narratives of EU Integration<\/a> report \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/new-narratives-of-eu-integration-the-rise-of-radical-right-and-eurosceptic-political-forces-and-the-impact-on-the-eus-enlargement-policy-ioannis-alexandris\/\"><em>The Rise of Radical Right and Eurosceptic Political Forces and the Impact on the EU\u2019s Enlargement Policy<\/em><\/a><em>\u201d<\/em>, they highlighted the strategic importance of the Western Balkans for the EU\u2019s future.
