{"id":32623,"date":"2023-06-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eliamep.lncdoo.com\/activity\/1os-pilotos-tou-ergou-appraise-lioubliana-09-11-5-2023\/"},"modified":"2023-06-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T21:00:00","slug":"1os-pilotos-tou-ergou-appraise-lioubliana-09-11-5-2023","status":"publish","type":"activity","link":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/activity\/1os-pilotos-tou-ergou-appraise-lioubliana-09-11-5-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Pilot 1 of the HORIZON project APPRAISE, Ljubljana, 09-11\/05\/2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"the-content\"><p><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">At Atlantis Waterpark in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) has participated in the Pilot 1 of the HORIZON project APPRAISE from 09 to 11 May 2023.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Over 40 members of the project consortium came together to test more than 35 technological solutions that have been developed within the project since it began in September 2021.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The APPRAISE H2020 consortium tested the technological solutions for the early detection of threats and improved cooperation between public and private security practitioners.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Practical evaluation is hugely important from the project team\u2019s perspective. Provided tools have to both respond to the needs of the end users and be easy to maintain and implement.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">These tools create just part of the APPRAISE framework, a framework that aims to provide the early detection of cyber and physical security threats on public spaces.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Being the leaders of WP2 on Social, Legal, Ethical and Privacy Issues, Irene Keremidou and Prof. Panayotis Tsakonas have managed on behalf of ELIAMEP the pilots ethical and legal constraints.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"featured_media":32624,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"program":[20],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/activity\/32623"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/activity"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/activity"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/32624"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=32623"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"program","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.eliamep.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/program?post=32623"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
