The Greek and European Economy Observatory of ELIAMEP, the Athens-based think tank, is looking for a young graduate to join its internship programme.

The successful candidate will work (remotely) with Manos Matsaganis, Head of the Observatory, and George Manalis, post-doc researcher, on analysing the provisions of National Recovery and Resilience Plans with respect to the digital transition, and its implications for employment and social protection.

This is a part-time position, lasting approximately five months overall (one month full-time equivalent), beginning early May 2022. A small fee (€663, equal to the statutory minimum wage) will be paid to the successful candidate.

Qualifications required:

  • University degree in economics, politics, or European studies.
  • Capacity to communicate clearly in English (written and oral).
  • Intellectual curiosity, ability to take initiatives, meet deadlines, work with others.
