The Collective Volume ‘The Oxford Handbook of Modern Greek Politics’ edited by Professors Kevin Featherstone, Eleftherios Venizelos Professor in Contemporary Greek Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science and member of ELIAMEP’s Advisory Board and Dimitri A. Sotiropoulos, Professor of Political Science at the University of Athens and ELIAMEP Senior Research Fellow, has been published by Oxford University Press. The Volume includes a number of ELIAMEP collaborators among other experienced analysts: Loukas Tsoukalis, President of ELIAMEP, George Pagoulatos, Director General, Nikiforos Diamandouros, member of the Honorary Council, Stathis Kalyvas, member of the Advisory Board, Calliope Spanou, Senior Policy Advisor and Ioannis N. Grigoriadis, Senior Research Fellow.

The 43 chapters of the volume, which spans more than 700 pages, concern Greek politics, economy, administration and public policy, the country’s external relations, as well as the political institutions and the most important political leaders from the transition to democracy until today. The volume covers the entire period 1974-2019, with historical references to the past and comparative references to other European Union countries.
