The project ATHENA (Approaches To valorise the High ENtrepreneuriAl potential of migrant women to contribute to their social and economic integration) is a two-year project funded by the AMIF Program. It aims to contribute to the economic and social integration of migrant women in the EU society by improving the services of entrepreneurship support oriented to migrant women and creating a specific entrepreneurial path for them. As part of this effort, the ATHENA project has undertaken research in the project’s 6 partner countries to: better understand the real demands and needs of migrant women regarding entrepreneurship, to conduct a mapping of entrepreneurial support services in the regions, and to identify good practices of entrepreneurial support services in all regions.
