Dimitra Tsigkou is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her Ph.D. Thesis topic is “The Role of Germany and France in the Euro Area Reform: A Comparative Political Economy Approach.” She holds an MSc in European Studies from the Athens University of Business and Economics and a BA in Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Ms. Tsigkou has served as an associate expert at the PM Office of Strategic Planning (November 2011 – July 2012). She has been a Junior Research Fellow of the A.G. Leventis Foundation Research Chair at ELIAMEP (December 2019 – September 2020) and has extensive experience in research programmes regarding the European Sovereign Debt Crisis and the European Economic Governance reform.
