Kyriakos Filinis is researcher at the project “Youth Employment and Gender Equality: Mobilizing human capital for sustainable growth in Greece” conducted by ELIAMEP.

He was awarded a PhD from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens on the political economy of labour market reform. He holds a BA in Economics and an MSc in European and International Studies from the University of Athens.

He has participated in European research projects and he has taught graduate courses at the Panteion University and at the University of West Attica and postgraduate seminar courses at the University of Athens. His research interests focus on labour economics and labour market institutions, sectoral approaches to skills anticipation and skills mismatch.
