Article by Kalliopi Amygdalou, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy, is published in the electronic journal “Archetype” on 15/2/2019 (February issue).

The text deals with the reconstruction of the city of Skopje after the devastating earthquake of 1963, as well as its complete architectural transformation through the enormous landscaping project “Skopje 2014“, which reconstructs its architectural physiognomy by mixing cultural and historical elements of the Cold War era with the contemporary traits of an urban area.
