The consortium of the ATHENA project, whose objective is to enhance the entrepreneurial capacities of migrant women, presented the project to stakeholders and press, with each partner noting the expected impact of the project within their country.

During the meeting, the different participants from the collaborating countries of Spain, Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, Italy and Greece also detailed the role of their institutions and the activities that will be carried out in each territory, which are expected to provide coverage, training and support to more than 210 migrant entrepreneurial women and more than 35 professionals.

The project is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Commission (AMIF) and aims to identify the demands and needs of migrant women regarding entrepreneurial support services, to improve the services provided by public bodies through trainings and consultations, and to develop activities that will enhance migrant women’s integration through entrepreneurship.
