“I think that a Biden victory will have a positive impact on international cooperation. For example, he has already made a commitment that the US will rejoin the WHO. Beyond that, I can’t predict what will happen with China. Trump is lurking, wanting to take political advantage of whatever Biden says, especially anything concerning the bilateral relations between China and the US. Biden is aware of that and is keeping a low profile. During the Obama presidency, when Biden was Vice President, China-US relations were definitely better.
