“Paradoxically, the pandemic might prove to be a positive challenge for Greek public administration. The first comparative research being published shows that governments that have had experience dealing with previous crises managed this one better. This is particularly the case for governments that had already created collaborative networks with other parts of the public sector and civil society organizations. Greek public administration lacks in these regards, since it remains inward-looking,” writes Dimitris A. Sotiropoulos in his article for newspaper Kathimerini.
