“The situation in the Eastern Mediterranean has reached a stalemate. Given Turkey’s aggressive behavior, the question is whether there is anything that can change the game, without harming the Greek interests or risk being misapprehended by the Turkish side. In such situations, only an unexpected, bold choice can break the cycle of escalation, a move that will force the other side to a desired response.
